Improvisational Textiles

Improvisational Textiles

The program in Textiles & Costumes is devoted to discovering interesting new ways to drape things in fiber. Beginning with fundamental questions like Is a Blanket a Garment? the program proceeds to develop new ways to use stuff woven & knit fabrics, yarn, and weird old buttons to create, well, other stuff. What's the best way to knit a shade structure cover? The Textiles & Costumes program will find out, probably by trial and error. Hilarity will surely ensue.
